
To make life easier, you can set the protection settings you want so that they will be applied by default. You can always override these settings every time you protect a document and change the password, expiry date etc.
The ‘Allow Password Retrieval’ option means that you grant the authorised recipient the ability to have the forgotten password emailed to their registered email address.
Setting a default expiry date means that you can have all your documents expire without worrying about checking them.
The legal agreement allows you to specify the title, which will appear in the Windows title bar, and the agreement that the recipient must adhere to before viewing your protected document.
The splash screen image allows you to set a graphic image, such as your logo, to be shown before the document opens.
